Rotary International Internet News

MORE AND MORE Rotarians including RI Board member Frank J. Devlyn-are looking to the Internet as a valuable tool for awareness, communication and action. Here's an update on new tools available on the RI Web site (www.rotary.org), and Frank J. Devlyn's Web site (www.frankdevlyn.org).

New search engine, other features on RI Web site

  • The official Rotary Web site has a new, improved search engine. Accessible from any page on the RI Web site, the search engine yields more detailed results with some context of the information a user is looking for. On the homepage at www.rotary.org, the search engine can be accessed by clicking a "Site Search" link and by launching a search button at the top right-hand corner or through another "Site Search" link at the bottom.
  • U.S. Rotarians can now link from the right-hand side of the RI homepage to an online application form for the new Rotary International Credit Card program. Launched recently, the credit card program provides Rotarians with a great opportunity to support RI and The Rotary Foundation.
  • Visitors to the site who click on "Information for Prospective Rotarians" on the homepage will be able to learn more about Rotary and download other information.
  • To facilitate quick delivery of important RI information, Rotarians can submit their e-mail addresses to the International Site.
