August 17, 2010, NISSOM, The Northeast Iowa School of Music, a recipient of a grant from the Rotary Club of Dubuque, entertained us on August 17th, and we have it all on our audio file for you. The rest of the meeting is here, too, including our guest presenter Dr. Jim Schneider (pictured at right), surrounded by hats of one form or another.

August 31, 2010, Steve Davis (left), Medical Associates Health Care, provided us with some expert interpretation of the new federal Health Care Bill. It was refreshing to hear from someone who actually has studied the bill and weighed its impact and implications for the rest of us citizens. Introducing Steve was Eric Hilbun, our program chair. Steve, by the way, is a fellow Rotarian. It's always nice when we can draw expertise and informative programs from within our ranks. Every member has a story to tell or a unique experience from which we can draw knowledge. The complete recording of the meeting is available in the box at right. |

| Javiera Alcaino, an exchange student from South America, attended our meeting and was hosted by Kimberly Buros who coordinates this enterprise for our Rotary Club chapter. |

The Membership Roster is Online!
We are testing a new format for our membership listing. Normally a printed membership book would cost the club several hundred dollars. With an online listing, the content never becomes obsolete because it can continually be updated. Members can print the list from their home computer if they want a hard copy. Give it a look. |
Dubuque Rotary Club 5970 of Rotary International, meets at the Dubuque Golf and Country Club 1800 Randall Place (off North Grandview) in Dubuque every Tuesday at Noon. Buffet lunch is served, and prospective members receive a free lunch. |
