Guidelines/Criteria

  1. PURPOSE: To recognize and honor those Rotarians in the club who best exemplify Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”. Please nominate a member of our Rotary Club who has demonstrated outstanding service this year in the following areas:
    1. Involvement in Rotary club activities (30%)
    2. Demonstrated leadership and initiative (30%)
    3. Service to the Community (30%)
    4. Involvement in District activities (10%)
  2. ELIGIBILITY: A Rotarian in good standing. The current President is not eligible for selection. All active (not honorary) members are eligible.
  3. NOMINATIONS: Club members may submit nominations for the Rotarian of the Year Award and provide justification for the nomination. The club’s selection committee makes their selection based on the criteria identified in paragraph one.
