Rotary Club of Dubuque provides service to several yearly initiatives.
Here our current service opportunities:

  • Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Rotary Club of Dubuque has partnered with the Salvation Army for years to ring the bell at several locations across Dubuque. You can find at least two Rotarians collecting coins and ringing bells with a smile each winter!

  • Super Shot Saturday
For 20+ years, Rotary Club of Dubuque has enjoyed a continued partnership with the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) of Dubuque County to provide immunizations for area youth – kindergarten thru high school age. Each year over 100 area children receive immunizations and dental checks.
Scheduled childhood vaccinations are among the basics of effective child health care. Unfortunately, some children of families in need in our community may not get their shots, placing their long-term health care at risk. Rotary Club contributes funds annually to pay for vaccines and volunteer Rotarians assist by signing in children, helping nurses hold infants and comfort frightened children, and hand out prizes for “bravery”.

  • Fall Highway Cleanup
Every Spring and Fall, we gather a dedicated group of Rotarians to clean up a section of Highway 52 South by St Catherine’s. We believe its our civic duty to be responsible for keeping our city beautiful. These days are full of discover, adventure, laughter and memories. We culminate this service project with a gathering of fellowship afterwards with coffee and desserts.
