June 7, 2022 - There was a great turnout to hear Gil Baca, founder of GlobalOne Defense Solutions, a consulting firm that trains military, medical staff, first responders, and educators in the art of personal self defense. His programs have been conducted and sponsored by companies, schools, and made available by the YMCA/YWCA organization nationwide. His company's Life Defense Program, includes improvised weapons creation and training. Gil began his company in New Mexico but has recently relocated to Dubuque.
Gil is applying to join Rotary with Rotarian Tony Calabrese, Dubuque YMCA, as his sponsor. Thank you, Gil!

Getting back to Rotary
If you haven't been back to Rotary in a while, we would love to have you as an active member again. Your presence and participation adds to the diversity and richness of our club meetings and activities.
