July 5, 2022 - Merrill Crawford of Westminster Presbyterian Church gave an entertaining update on the Church's current efforts to restore and clean its pipe organ. The organ was installed as the Church was built in the early 1960s and has over 2,000 pipes, ranging from 6" to 18 feet.

There were church members and community groups that volunteered to help remove and clean the pipes, under the supervision of workers from Dodson Pipe Organ Builders based in Lake City, Iowa. That included the Aktion Club for local adults with disabilities abilities, affiliated with the Dubuque Kiwanis Club (where Merrill is a longtime member).

You can follow their progress on their project FaceBook page.
